Meet the Sitters
Meet Lindsay, Your Professional Pet Sitter!
I’m Lindsay, the owner of Fussy Gussy Pet Sitting, LLC! I grew up in Baltimore County with three guinea pigs, a huge goldfish tank, and a fantastically stubborn Westie. Today, I dote on my two rambunctious cats, Frankie and Gus (that's me and Frankie to the left).
Yes, Gus is fussy. He inspired me to start Fussy Gussy Pet Sitting. Gus is very particular about where he likes to eat his food, the toys he chooses to play with, the amount of litter in the box… I could go on. He’s my silly, shy, lovable boy. The first time I was scheduled to travel after adopting Gus, I knew that boarding him would cause him a lot of stress and anxiety. He really needed to be at home where he was comfortable and not surrounded by strange animals in a strange place. A friend recommended her pet sitter to me. Not only was hiring a pet sitter much more affordable than boarding my cats, it also afforded me wonderful peace of mind. My pets got one-on-one attention and care from a sitter who knew their routines, they stayed in a familiar environment with their own beds and toys, and they even got some snuggles! So I know firsthand the value a pet sitter brings to my own home and my pets.
I have been an attorney and a teacher, but working with animals has been a dream of mine since childhood. I am so excited to help my community by doing something I love! When you schedule services with Fussy Gussy Pet Sitting, you'll meet me at our meet and greet, and I'm often the one who will be visiting your pets at home. Your pets are a part of your family, and I promise to treat them like they're a member of mine.
Meet Devi, Your Professional Pet Sitter!
I'm Devi, an employee of Fussy Gussy Pet Sitting, LLC! I was born and raised in Maryland; however, Clarksville is where I have spent the majority of my life. Fifteen years ago, my mother started our animal family with one orange tabby, whose name was Nermal. She easily became a huge part of our family - we even had birthday parties for her with a cake made out of cat treats!
Once Nermal was a little older, we brought in another cat, Oreo. Shortly after that, we adopted and rescued our first dog, Lollipop, and since then, we have added one other rescue dog, Sweetart, and many rescued cats: Lucky, Spooky, Jigsaw, Truffle, and Tinkerbell. Sadly, Nermal, Oreo, and Lucky have all passed, but we still have a count of six in our current animal family.
Clearly, I have been raised around many animals, so, it was only natural for me to develop a deep love for them and all furry creatures. I honestly couldn't imagine my life without them! I have been fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to love and care for other people's pets, and I am even more fortunate to be able to make it my career :)
Meet Joelle, Your Professional Pet Sitter!
I’m Joelle, an employee of Fussy Gussy Pet Sitting, LLC! I lived in New York for most of my life, but I have to admit that Maryland has done a great job at winning me over. I haven’t quite given in to the Old Bay temptation yet, though. I’ve been around animals my entire life. One of my first pet memories, when I was about five, was finding Katie, a sweet declawed cat wandering in the woods. We gave her a loving home and plenty of cuddling, treats, and toys. My grandpa moved in with us when I was in middle school, and he brought four cats along with him. I was over the top delighted about my new furry friends. I’ve lived in multiple pet households my entire life, and I remember my time in a house with four large dogs and ten cats fondly.
I’m currently living with two cats, Tripod and Tetrapod, who are positively filled with purrsonality, and I give the neighborhood cats petting-on-demand. I want to cuddle every pet I see, so pet sitting makes perfect sense for me. I get to spend my time meeting all sorts of furry friends. The thought brings a smile to my face!
